Synthesis

Three originally written poems translated with
moving imagery and music. (Sound on)

Motion

Poem 1: Artificial
The imagery in Poem 1 was made with a microscopic. Photographs of sunsets were printed on paper, and then recorded through a mircroscope. The compositions resemble the setting sun on a horizon, and the changing tides of the ocean.

Poem 2: Red

The imagery in Poem 2 was made with videos of spilled ink, which were digitally inverted and manipulated. The ink blots resemble a pair of breathing lungs, butterfly wings, and spilled liquid.

Poem 3: Footsteps

The imagery in Poem 3 was made with scanned images of charcoal powder footprints. The transparent imagery respresents the echo of footsteps and fading sounds from above.
