A Book Pays Homage to Philly’s Firefighters
Early Days is an editorial project that honors Philadelphia's early firefighters and their heroic contributions to the fire department. To capture this historic period in a contemporary way, a custom typeface was designed, inspired by the typography found on the first-ever Philadelphia fire badges. The book serves as a quiet reflection on the past, featuring simple compositions and bold typography that emphasize solidarity and surprise.
